For 22 years, I tried life my way, believing in self, worshiping materialistic items and being a very selfish individual.  I had a very difficult time believing in God because of my trials and tribulations in life with the addition of my family being very abusive amongst each other and being extremely broke.  I watched my grandmother pray day & night but it never seemed like God heard any of her prayers and because of that I had absolutely no faith. I thought my life was useless; therefore, didn’t completely believe in God.

Due to a terrible situation, I ended up living in my truck for 63 days in California. On the 14th day of sleeping in the car I was living so badly that I had no choice but to give God a shot.  I decided to stop thinking that I controlled my life. I decided to stop putting my problems on other people and I own up to my responsibilities and I started facing my problems like a man.  I had no other choice but to put my situation in God’s hands; so I gave it a try.  I wrote down about 10 dreams that only God could help me with. No human or thing could have helped me attain what I needed most in my situation; so I turned to God and asked him if He did indeed exist to prove Himself to me. On that 14th day while lying in that truck, I created the quote, “GOD’S ON MY TEAM; WHO’S ON YOURS.”  I can successfully say to you that God proved Himself to me.  All 10 dreams that I wrote in the back of that truck, I currently live all of those dreams today and all the glory goes to God.  The one thing I love most about God is although I gave up on him over 1 million times, I’m so glad that he never gave up on me once!

For 22 years, I didn’t have the faith to believe in God and life wasn’t working out for me; but every since the day I created this quote, everything has worked out for me. Remember to keep God on your team regardless of your situation in life.  I was about to give up on life and myself because I felt so unappreciated in this world.  Even if our religious beliefs are different in life, we all just want to be treated with equal respect.  We all come from different walks of life but that does not mean we can’t all walk together.  I respect you, I believe in you and no matter what,  I truly love you!  This quote was created to let you know daily that GOD IS ON YOUR TEAM!
